Our Story

Founded in 1989, Waterdam Plaza is a locally owned, family-operated commercial property in Peters Township. Waterdam Plaza has prospered through long-lasting tenant relationships and deep connections to the community. From humble beginnings of a strip center and single office building, Waterdam has expanded over the years to a portfolio of 15 buildings.

A majority of tenants at Waterdam are locally owned businesses that have a variety of ties to both Peters Township as well as Washington and Allegheny counties. Waterdam strives to cement these ties through both charitable giving as well as consistent tax payment obligations. Waterdam is the largest real estate taxpayer in Peters Township and has paid millions of dollars to Peters Township and Washington County over the last 30 years. In addition, we consistently give to a variety of local and regional organizations and non-profits. Giving back and helping our community is integral to the DNA of Waterdam.
